We're So Glad you are Here!

Planning a visit? Here’s everything you need to know before you come.

You're Invited!

We're excited to invite you to join us at ECC this Sunday. It's a laid-back welcoming space where you can meet new people and find a little inspiration. We're really looking forward to meeting you and sharing this experience together. Hope to see you there!.

What to Expect

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a friendly, relaxed environment. Our services include worship, prayer, and a message rooted in God’s Word. Come as you are—there’s no dress code.

Sunday During Worship: We love kids! Children are always welcome in our Sunday worship service. We also offer nursery care throughout the entire service for our youngest children 0-3.  Lighthouse Littles for ages 3-5 and Lighthouse Kids for ages K-6th grade start halfway through the service. Children are to be picked up downstairs in the Lighthouse Room.

First 50 (9:00–9:50am): We offer programming for all ages before worship each Sunday. First 50 is like Sunday School for all ages, where kids and students explore God’s Word in age-appropriate ways through Bible teaching, discussion, and activities that help faith grow.

Wednesday Nights: Wednesday nights are for everyone! Enjoy dinner together, then jump into engaging, age-appropriate programming for birth through high school.

A typical Sunday at ECC is relaxed and welcoming. You’ll see people dressed casually, enjoy a time of worship together, hear a message rooted in Scripture, and have a chance to connect over coffee and treats before or after the service.

Finding Us
We’re located in the heart of Excelsior and easy to find, just minutes from downtown and the lake. Use the link below for directions.

Parking
We have free parking available in our main lot, with additional parking nearby when needed. Our parking team is available on Sunday mornings to help direct you and answer questions.

First-Time Guests

If you’re visiting for the first time, feel free to park in any available spot and come in through the main entrance. Greeters are ready to welcome you and help you find the Sanctuary, kids check-in, nursery, coffee, and more.

Accessibility
Accessible parking spaces are available near the main entrance, and the building is wheelchair accessible. Hearing assistance devices are also available for those who would benefit from amplified sound during worship services.

Communion: We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month.

We offer gluten free bread and grape juice, and children are welcome to participate when they and their families feel ready. Younger children may come forward for a blessing, and honey sticks are available.

As part of the Evangelical Covenant Church, we practice open Communion, seeing the table as a gift of grace where we remember Christ and are renewed together.

Baptism: We believe baptism as a beautiful sign of God’s grace and our response of faith. In the Evangelical Covenant Church, we honor both infant baptism and believer’s baptism, recognizing faithful Christians hold different convictions.

We also offer child dedications for families who choose to dedicate their children, as well as baptism for children, students, and adults when they are ready to take that step of faith. If you’re interested in baptism or dedication, we’d love to talk with you.

September–May, Wednesday Nights are a special time for all ages to gather midweek for community, growth, and fun. Enjoy dinner together from 5:10–6:30pm, then jump into programming for birth through adults—with opportunities to learn, connect, and grow in faith for every generation.

YES! Come a little early or stay after worship for coffee, tea, and treats—including snacks for kids! It’s a simple way to connect, meet others, and enjoy fellowship together before and after the service.
