What do you imagine when you hear the word renew?

Is it the coming of spring, needed rest from a long work week, or the peace you feel as God holds you in His arms through trying times?

Excelsior Covenant Church (ECC) is embracing ReNEW!al as a church.

The ReNEW! campaign will run from April 22–May 20, with pledges and commitments to be received at a special celebration event on May 20. As with many fundraising campaigns, we will ask for pledges above normal general fund tithing/giving over a 3-year period (2018-2020).

We would ask three things of you during this season:

  1. Please prayerfully consider how you can engage in ‘renewing’ your ministry passions at ECC.
  2. Please plan to attend an Informational Meeting on the ReNEW! Campaign. Informational meetings will be held several times in the coming weeks, including: Sundays, April 22 & 29 from 10:45-11:30 AM. and Sunday, May 13 from 9:00-9:45 AM in the Oak View Room; and Wednesday, May 9 from 6:30-7:15 PM in the Oak View Room.
  3. Prayerfully consider making a pledge to help us meet our goal. After your prayerful consideration, complete a “Commitment Card” (found in the Welcome Center or online HERE) to indicate your response, and either mail it back, drop it in the “bird cage” at the welcome center, or turn it in at the special celebration event on Sunday, May 20.

Please join us as we continue to pray that God will richly bless the ministries of Excelsior Covenant Church, including the ministries that will be enabled as a result of this ReNEW! Campaign.

Is The Church Costing Too Much?

Please read this timeless "Dear Abby" article written in the 1990's for the answer.

This is an exciting time of transition and ministry growth at ECC! And this spring, we  are joyfully initiating a campaign to engage the entire ECC community in a season of renewal. Over the next several weeks, we will focus on this theme of ReNEW!al  during Sunday and mid-week activities, and we encourage you to watch the regular ECC communications for updates. A key part of this season will be a fundraising (or capital) campaign that will raise funds towards three objectives: debt elimination, building enhancements, and mission.
